Goodnight Sweet Dreams

Tuesday, 23 April, 2019 - 18:30 to Wednesday, 24 April, 2019 - 20:00
Gateshead and Stockton Central Library

History Wardrobe presents an hilarious new history of bedtime.  Covered-up in cotton gowns, or brazen in Bri-Nylon – our nightwear tells the story of sleep, sex, sickness and idleness.  All the cycle of life is shown in bedtime clothes, from birthing robes and honeymoon nighties to death’s sombre shroud.

We’ll explore boudoir glamour, bedtime stories, the science of sleep and the rise of the Duvet Day.  So snuggle up and enjoy the show.

More information can be found here on the Gateshead performance on 23 April and Stockton performance on 24 April.
