You're invited to the Know Your Neighbourhood Conference 2026!

Between January 2023 and March 2025, the UK Government’s Know Your Neighbourhood (KYN) Fund invested up to £30 million to widen participation in volunteering and tackle loneliness in 27 disadvantaged areas across England. Originally scheduled to end in March 2025, in April 2025 the KYN Fund was extended until March 2026, with up to an additional £4.5 million of funding. This additional funding will build upon the original KYN objectives, involving the same local authority areas, with funded projects also aimed at reducing loneliness stigma and building community cohesion.

The programme supports people to build social connections, improve wellbeing and take pride in their local communities.

The event features an inspiring line-up of speakers and discussions, highlighting the creativity, collaboration and learning emerging from the KYN programme, including:

  • Darren Henley, CEO of Arts Council England, leading a session on how in-person interventions address and prevent harmful consequences of the stigma associated with loneliness
  • Key insights from the programme evaluation
  • The power of networks and collaboration
  • Opportunities to connect with national funders
  • In-depth conversations around core KYN themes

There will also be plenty of time to network and learn from each other.

Please select the relevant ticket to indicate whether you'll be attending online or in-person at the event.
