Know Your Neighbourhood Conference 2026
The Guildhall York, Guildhall, The Courtyard, Coney St, York YO1 9QN, UK
You're invited to the Know Your Neighbourhood Conference 2026!
The Know Your Neighbourhood (KYN) Fund is a major cross-sector initiative funded by Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport designed to widen participation in volunteering and to tackle loneliness in disadvantaged areas across England. The programme supports people to build social connections, improve wellbeing and take pride in their local communities.
This event will bring together delivery organisations, community leaders, partners and funders to reflect on the impact of the KYN programme and explore how its legacy can continue to support thriving, connected communities.
The event features an inspiring line-up of speakers and discussions, highlighting the creativity, collaboration and learning emerging from the KYN programme, including:
- Darren Henley, CEO of Arts Council England, leading a session on how creative engagement and volunteering can help address the stigma of loneliness
- Key insights from the programme evaluation
- The power of networks and collaboration
- Opportunities to connect with national funders
- In-depth conversations around core KYN themes
There will also be plenty of time to network and learn from each other.
Please select the relevant ticket to indicate whether you'll be online or in-person at the event.
