For the last 18 months Children NorthEast© have been working with Libraries Connected to undertake poverty proofing research in three library services. As part of the programme webinars have been offered throughout the programme.

This coming series of webinars marks the culmination of the project and will share the findings of the project.

Hear from the library services who participated in the Poverty Proofing© project, they will share some of the actions taken and expected impact  

Children North East will share the common themes arising from Poverty Proofing© work in three areas of the UK some of the common barriers as well as positive practice. All of which may be applied to other library services as part of a deeper poverty proofing© approach.
