There are about 3000 library buildings in the country - but are they all fit for purpose, and how much investment is needed?

Designing Libraries is working with the global construction and engineering company Arup to conduct a survey of the whole public library estate in England. This will provide an estimate of the investment necessary to ensure all buildings are fit for the delivery of modern library services.

This is a landmark study, which we plan to use to advocate for investment. We'd love to encourage as many libraries as possible to respond to the survey so that it can provide compelling data and evidence.
