Join Luke and Alison from Arts Council England’s Libraries team to find out more about this funding opportunity for English libraries. 

The Europe Challenge is an annual programme that brings together teams from libraries and communities across Europe to address pressing social, digital, and climate challenges. Libraries are invited to develop, share, and implement creative projects with support from a programme that offers:

• Funding of up to £10,000 to implement a proposed project 
• A series of online and in-person workshops and mentoring sessions
• Additional peer-to-peer exchange opportunities, networking, and travel
• A platform to showcase the implemented project

During the session, you will hear from some of the English libraries that took part in last year’s Europe Challenge. They will share details of their project, their experience in participating in the programme and the positive impact the funding and development programme has had in their communities. Luke and Alison will take you through key dates and information for this year’s programme and open call application and there will be time for discussion and questions.
