Webinar: EVOLS in Practice: How Somerset Libraries Demonstrated Their Value

Webinar: EVOLS in Practice: How Somerset Libraries Demonstrated Their Value

Join Darren and John from Somerset Libraries as they share their experience of using the Economic Value of Library Services (EVOLS) tool to better understand, evidence, and communicate the value of their library service.

Developed by health economists as part of the Libraries for Living, and for Living Better project, (Gordon et al., University of East Anglia, 2023) EVOLS helps libraries estimate the value of the services they provide, including both monetised and non-monetised benefits.

The report and tool are available in Libraries Connected’s Social Value Impact Programme on Basecamp, alongside other resources to help libraries measure their economic and social value, such as the Power of Prevention report and toolkit.

In this session, Darren and John will talk through how they approached using the tool, the insights it provided, and how the findings have supported conversations with stakeholders and decision-makers. Whether you are considering using EVOLS for the first time or looking for practical tips from a peer service, this webinar will provide valuable learning and inspiration.

Please note the session will be recorded so please still sign up if you can't make but would like to listen back.
