This webinar will share insights into The Reading Agency’s recent collaboration with local authorities to deliver library-led, Council-wide reading for pleasure strategies. The model is driven by the library service, aligned to the needs of local communities and delivered in partnership with key partners across the authority, using reading to deliver local priorities and targets. Reading Agency colleagues will outline the approach taken for this work and share examples of the ways the methodology has been adapted for different local authority contexts. Library representatives from the London Borough of Camden and Wiltshire Council will share their experiences of this work to date, including the development process, implementation plans and intended impact.
