Thank you to public libraries who took part in a first wave of activity to signpost to health information and the NHS App between October 2024 and February 2025. You can see an evaluation of the first wave of activity on the CILIP website.

Libraries Connected is hosting a webinar at 3-4pm on Tuesday 28 October for public library colleagues who are interested in learning about the first wave of activity and potentially becoming involved in a second wave. This second wave will start from Health Information Week (19-25 January 2026).

This webinar will provide:

• Reflections on learnings from the first wave of activity
• An opportunity to learn more about a second wave of activity
• An introduction to training materials on high-quality health information, the NHS App and the NHS Account
• An overview of promotional materials and activity to connect public libraries to local NHS organisations
