Discussion group 4: Professional Development Conversations Tool (Individual contributors)
Libraries Connected is seeking participants for a series of discussion groups to help co-create a Professional Development Conversations Tool for public libraries.
These sessions will bring together colleagues from across the sector to share experiences and perspectives on professional development conversations. The insights gathered will help shape a practical resource to support learning, development and career progression within public library services.
We're keen to hear about:
- What makes professional development conversations valuable
- Experiences of discussing learning, development and aspirations
- Common challenges and barriers
- What support individuals need from managers
- What should be included in a practical sector-wide resource
This session is for individuals reflecting on their own learning, development and career progression.
Each session is a small, informal discussion group designed to enable open conversation and shared learning.
There are 6 spaces available per session.
