Webinar: The Economic and Social Value of Library Activities for Older People
Join us for an exclusive webinar sharing the findings of recent research commissioned by the Libraries Connected South East network and conducted by Shared Intelligence, plus a preview of a brand new data tool that will enable authorities to assess the value of their work.
This research was commissioned to evaluate the economic and social value of library-led activities supporting older people and good mental health.
Speakers:
- James Pearson (SE Regional Chair and Head of Service, Kent Libraries) and Russell Allen (SE Regional Vice Chair and Head of Service, West Sussex Libraries) will share the background to the project and how the LCSE network undertook the commissioning process
- Ben Lee (Director at Shared Intelligence) will present the key findings and explain the methodology used
Following the webinar the data tool created by Shared Intelligence as part of this work will be made available through the Social Value Impact Programme basecamp to enable you to generate economic values for the impact of your own services, using the same Treasury “Green Book” standard methods.
