Webinar: Getting involved in Pride In Place (Part 1)
This webinar will provide an introduction to the Pride in Place strategy and funding. It will look at how libraries and creative groups could participate in the programme, through their own council and communities.
The government has announced its approach to neighborhoods through the Pride in Place Strategy and associated funds to support specific areas of the country.
The prospectus for Pride in Place allows the funding to be used to enhance and fund support for arts, cultural, heritage and creative activities, projects and facilities.
Out of 339 identified places in the strategy across the UK,146 in England have a library in or near the identified place (DCMS analysis).
The webinar will include an introduction to Pride in Place, examples of local place engagement and an opportunity to explore the programme and any potential support needed.
This event will include representatives and members of Creative Lives.
Please note that this webinar will be recorded. If you’d like to receive a copy of the recording but can’t make the webinar itself, please still sign up.
