Libraries Connected publishes first annual impact report
Libraries Connected has published its first annual impact report, showcasing how we are supporting our members to collaborate, innovate and respond to the changing needs of their communities.
The report highlights a year in which Libraries Connected supported 176 member library services, reaching around 17,500 library staff and volunteers through funding, training, networks, professional development and national programmes.
Among the report's highlights are:
- 145,000 people reached through Know Your Neighbourhood activities, exceeding engagement targets by more than 450%
- More than 50 webinars delivered, attracting around 3,000 live participants and a further 3,000 on-demand views
- Around 2,000 online learning enrolments across the year
- Over £1.2 million distributed directly to more than 100 library-led projects
- More than 700 library staff attending the Universal Library Offers conference
The report also explores the impact of national programmes including Know Your Neighbourhood, Innovating in Trusted Spaces, Poverty Proofing Libraries and Black British Ballet, as well as our work across membership, workforce development, regional networks, policy and advocacy.
