WordFest is a month-long festival celebrating words, encouraging young people and families to explore their creativity.

This brand new community-based festival has been redefined, blending digital activities, small scale participatory events and community library activities and experiences, all promoting the message: 'Make Words Count'.

For our inaugural festival this year theyare focussing on our children and young people and the role of words in their creative futures.
