Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter of this prize draw is Libraries Connected (charity number 1176482), Libraries Connected Mailbox 1201, Maggie O'Neill Business and Training Centre, 433 Liverpool Road, Huyton, Liverpool L36 8HT (promoter).
- This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over. This prize draw is not open to employees of the promoter, nor their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with promotion of this prize draw.
- To enter this prize draw you must provide your contact details in the course of completing the survey. No purchase is necessary.
- Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple submissions of the same survey or from the same person will not result in additional entries into this prize draw.
- The promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed or that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by the promoter.
- The closing date for this prize draw is the time and date indicated on the survey introductory text. Entries received after this time and date will not be considered.
- One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process administered by the promoter. The draw will take place on the date specified on the survey introductory text.
- The winner will receive the prize outlined on the survey introductory text.
- The promoter does not accept any responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
- The winner will be notified by email on the day of the draw. If a winner does not respond to the promoter within 90 days of being notified, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- The prize will be sent to the winner either via post or e-mail. The prize will be sent to the winner by the date identified by the promoter (which, in any event, will not be more than 5 days of the winner being notified of their win) by secured mail or via e-mail depending on the nature of the prize.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- The promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
- The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of this prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The promoter may either publish of make available information that indicates that a valid prize draw and award took place. The promoter may send the surname and country of the prize winner to anyone who requests the same. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the promoter. The promoter may still be required to provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency on request.
- The promoter shall only process any personal data you supply to it as described in its Privacy Policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation. - The promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this prize draw or accepting the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the maximum amount allowable by law.
- If for any reason any aspect of this prize draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the promoter or the administrator which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw, the promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this prize draw or invalidate any affected entries, where required.
- Participants in this prize draw are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
