Webinar: Early years play, arts and culture in libraries
In June, Nick Serota, Arts Council England Chair, said:
We need to ensure that all children, everywhere, have access to the inspiration and joy that culture and creativity bring: for their benefit, and ultimately – as they grow into happier, healthier, more productive adults – for ours.
This webinar run in partnership with ASCEL will explore how public libraries are supporting our youngest children to become creative citizens. We will hear from libraries and their partners who are forging ahead with innovative programmes focusing on play and cultural activity and there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and share their own ideas and good practice.
Speakers will include Evie Keough from Boromi, colleagues from Leicestershire libraries and the Playground programme from Kent Libraries.
This event will be recorded. Please let us know if you have any accessibility needs for this online webinar.
