Hay Festival Digital #Imaginetheworld is free to view and runs 18–31 May 2020.
Their programme for schools, created especially for learning at home, brings fabulous authors including Cressida Cowell, Patrice Lawrence and Onjali Q Rauf, straight from their house to yours from Monday 18 – Friday 22 May.
Each day, from 8am onwards, you can see two primary (years 3-6) authors introduced by Konnie Huq and two secondary (years 7-10) authors introduced by Jenny Valentine. These events will be available to watch again on Hay Player and you can access teaching materials to support learning before, during and after the festival.
From 22–31 May, Hay Festival Digital takes place online with interactive events from more than 100 award-winning writers, global policy makers, historians, pioneers and innovators, celebrating the best new fiction and non-fiction, and interrogating some of the biggest issues of our time.
The main programme will be available to watch via Crowdcast, which will allow you to watch, chat, send questions and participate in polls.
You will need to register on Crowdcast in order to watch the main programme.
