As part of our exploration of death positive libraries, Libraries Connected held a webinar around Finding Connections Through Loss, an Arts Council England funded grief project by Libraries Unlimited. We heard about the project from Emily Macaulay, Service Delivery Manager from Libraries Unlimited, Aly Dickinson, Director & Operations Executive at End of Life Doula UK and Amy Shelton, Artistic Director of Honeyscribe. 

The webinar explained the project experience so far, including the bid writing process and engaging community partners. It provided insight into the work the artists are hoping to deliver with local communities, and the anticipated outcomes. We heard more about the work of the Health and Wellbeing Offer Group, who have been working with Cruse Bereavement Care on a bereavement café toolkit and an update from Libraries Connected on the Death Positive Libraries project. The event was aimed at all library staff and was free to attend.
