This UK Shared Prosperity Fund replaces EU structural funding, and is locally and regionally led. The process is that the combined authorities and individual local authorities create an investment plan and submit this to the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) for approval.

With the deadline for these investment plans approaching, we will hear from DLUHC and one of the Combined Authorities how library services can ensure they can play a part in these investment plans.

We are of the strong belief that these investment plans will be much stronger with library services at the heart of them, connecting the local and regional vision to the communities libraries work with, and ensuring sustainable funding for library services to support the plans.
