Wokingham Libraries

Inspired by the BBC Novels That Shaped Our World programme, Wokingham Libraries will be holding three 'Authors Online' events over the coming months.

Authors Online is a new initiative from Wokingham Borough Libraries offering authors a virtual platform to connect with the public about their books, the publishing processes and the many other aspects of being an author.

  • On Tuesday 13 April at 6.30 pm, they will be talking to the wonderfully talented thriller author and local Jenny Quintana, who will be discussing her new book The Hiding Place as well as her influences, processes and what is it like to write thrillers.
  • On Thursday 13 May at 7 pm Simon Brett will be talking about his career as a crime writer and his latest novel Blotto, Twinks and the Maharaja’s Jewell.
  • On Monday 21 June at 7 pm Ruqaya Izzidien, author of The Watermelon Boys, will be discussing her life and career as a writer.

Places can be booked for all events by emailing libraries@wokingham.gov.uk
