Get Creative at Home festival 2020

At this challenging time, we believe that the power of creativity to unite people and support them to maintain good mental health is more important than ever.

We know that many people across the UK will be facing long periods of isolation and anxiety in the coming weeks and having a creative outlet will be incredibly important in helping people to find meaning, purpose and connection.

The power of the Get Creative campaign has always come from the support of the cultural sector, independent artists, community groups and grassroots practitioners. By working together in recent years, we have shared the joys and positive benefits of creativity with a huge mainstream audience.

We aim to do this again now, with our unique partnership allowing us to amplify the great work being done by people and organisations to share ways members of the public can get creative in the current circumstances.

We also want you to share your tips, tutorials, projects and ideas through #GetCreativeAtHome

Visit the Get Creative website for creative ideas, activities and tutorials for you to try at home.

The Craft Council have also put together a guide to hosting online craft events that includes tips on how to use Zoom and Facebook Live.
