The National Gathering of Libraries Connected's Innovation Network will be held in Leeds Central Library on Wednesday 3 April, 10am – 4.30pm. This annual event brings library staff together from across the UK to share the work we are doing, create new connections and think collectively about how to improve the services we provide to our local communities.
A recent call for topics included suggestions such as the business case and impact of stopping library fines, innovative income streams, learning from libraries internationally, open data and information literacy, games in libraries and Open+.
We are still looking for people to host conversations and share good practice, innovation and ideas so if you would be interested in doing this please get in touch with Helen Drakard to discuss your ideas further. A full agenda and topics will be shared nearer the date.
This gathering is open to all public library staff in the UK. It is a one-day event, designed to allow you to share how you are innovating and to learn what other services in the UK are doing.
