Safer Libraries webinar

Incidents of violence and abuse towards staff had been on the increase pre-pandemic and are becoming a concern again as libraries reopen. To share good practice and discuss what resources and support might be helpful, Libraries Connected are running a webinar focusing on the topic of Safer Libraries.

James Pearson, who has been leading safer libraries work in the South East, will introduce the webinar. Colleagues from Norfolk, Newcastle and Portsmouth who will be talking about their experiences and how policies, training or partnerships have helped minimise incidents and support staff. There will also be the opportunity to contribute your own experiences and discuss what support might be helpful moving forward, so please be ready to share any examples of good practice or ideas you have.

The session is aimed at Senior Managers working in public libraries and is free to attend. Book your place here.
